I've loved painting since I was a little girl.

I have now been painting professionally for more than 20 years.

I enjoy exploring new ideas & working in glorious vivid colours.

My name is Kate Chappell I was born in Roehampton-London on the 4th of July 1977.

My Parents Roger.Chappell & Virginia.(Boundy)Chappell are both Welsh. So I consider myself to be too.

I have one brother Gareth & a sister Michelle.

I live in Ashampstead with my boyfriend Tim & two cats Maisy Moo Starlight & Mr.Tom.

I grew up in Effingham in Surrey.

I went to quite a mixture of schools not that I was naughty!

The things I love:

skiing, dancing, painting, fancy dress, picnics,

traveling, house parties, swimming, thunderstorms,

VW camper vans, reading scary thrillers,

roller-skating, festivals, cooking, beautiful hats,

the movies, making jewelry, roasts, starlight,

pub lunches with your best friends, roast potatoes,

orchids, to die for shoes & lets not forget snuggles.

I feel very lucky to do what I love the most as my career.

I love a challenge & enjoy trying out new ideas & exploring different techniques.
